The Creative Arts Scholarship recognizes incoming students (day only) who have a desire to participate in the creative arts while attending Augsburg University. This includes students who plan to major, minor, or actively participate in Augsburg’s creative arts programs—art & design, creative writing, film & new media, music, or theater.
This renewable $3,000 per year tuition reduction scholarship is awarded based on an indicated interest in the application for admission to the university. Confirmation and acceptance of the award requires either a live audition or digital submission of materials demonstrating the student’s best artistic work, an in-person or virtual interview, and approval of the arts department faculty.
Applicants may participate in more than one area of creative arts but may receive only one scholarship.
